[Decoded] Ten Things We’re Not Dragging Into 2026

Decoded: Musings on Human Design for living your BEST life

BUSINESS / CAREER / RELATIONSHIPS / PARENTING

Hey Reader,

If you’re feeling the pull for a fresh start next year, you’re not imagining it.

Your Human Design is getting louder. What you tolerated in 2025 is not coming with you into 2026.

Because this new chapter is not about burnout, confusion, or forcing yourself into strategies that were never yours to begin with.

It’s about honouring the way you actually work. It’s about alignment and evolution, not more pressure.

So here we go.
Ten things we are officially leaving behind in 2025.
And ten ways to finally follow your Design in a way that feels like a deep exhale.

1. Using someone else’s strategy because it “worked for them.”

Cool story. They’re not you.
Their Design is not your Design.
Return to sender.

Aligned shift:
Choose strategies that match your energy type, authority and natural pace. Alignment beats imitation every time.

2. Being available 24/7

You’re not Uber Eats.
Please stop delivering yourself.

Aligned shift:
Boundaries are energetic protection. Your Design thrives when you create space.

3. Confusing productivity with worthiness

You’re allowed to rest without earning it.
Actually… you’re required to.

Aligned shift:
Work in rhythm with your Design, not against it. Sustainable energy creates sustainable success.

4. The “I’ll just push through it” era

Congrats, that era has expired.
Please see yourself out.

Aligned shift:
Notice the first signs of misalignment and respond early. Pushing is resistance. Alignment is flow.

5. Letting other people’s urgency become your emergency

If it’s not bleeding, burning, or legally binding… it can wait.

Aligned shift:
Protect your nervous system. Your energy is too valuable to be hijacked.

6. Strategies that feel like wearing jeans straight out of the dryer

Too tight. Too restrictive. Not designed for you.

Aligned shift:
Choose approaches that feel like soft linen. Ease equals sustainability.

7. Undercharging because you’re “still growing”

You’ve been growing since you were born.
Charge accordingly.

Aligned shift:
Your gifts are valuable. Your experience is valuable. Your energy is valuable.

8. Saying yes when your whole body is screaming no

Your sacral/intuition/emotional wave/inner authority is begging for justice.

Aligned shift:
Honour your inner guidance before anything else. Your body knows.

9. Building a business that drains you

If you’re exhausted before your workday even starts, the model is wrong.
It’s not you.

Aligned shift:
Restructure your offers, energy output and workflow to fit your Design, not someone else’s blueprint.

10. Pretending you don’t know what you want

You do.
You always have.
You’ve just been busy being polite.

Aligned shift:
Let desire lead. Your correct path already lives in your body.

2026 is the year of doing business your way

Aligned. Clear. Zero nonsense.
No more battling your energy. No more overthinking every decision. No more using someone else’s roadmap.

You were designed for success that feels like you.

And if you want support to build a business that actually fits your Design, the Aligned Business Blueprint is here to help you step into that next level with clarity and ease.

Delivered in 7 days.
Rooted in your chart.
Practical, grounded and designed to feel like a relief.

Your Design already knows what you’re capable of. Now it’s your turn to catch up.

by Cat Skreiner Decoded: Musings on Human Design for living your BEST life BUSINESS / CAREER / RELATIONSHIPS / PARENTING Hey Reader, Many people are arriving at this moment without a clear story for why things feel different. They’re not looking for a reset. They’re not trying to reinvent themselves. They just know they can’t keep doing things the way they always have. Old patterns start to feel heavy.Roles that once made sense feel constricting.Past hurts and betrayals surface, not to be re...

by Cat Skreiner Decoded: Musings on Human Design for living your BEST life BUSINESS / CAREER / RELATIONSHIPS / PARENTING Hey Reader, When external structures lose their authority, something interesting happens. People assume everything becomes unstable. That life gets chaotic. That we’re left without anchors. In reality, the opposite is true. What falls away are the supports that required constant maintenance. What remains are the things that can stand on their own. In the era we’re moving into,...

by Cat Skreiner Decoded: Musings on Human Design for living your BEST life BUSINESS / CAREER / RELATIONSHIPS / PARENTING Hey Reader, For a long time, effort was rewarded. The more you pushed. The more you proved yourself. The more you held it together. That equation made sense inside systems designed to absorb individual strain. But when those systems start to thin out, force becomes expensive. And eventually, unsustainable. This is why so many capable, intelligent, experienced people are...
